From Fatigue & Frustration to Confidence & Energy:
Alex’s Success Story
Before working with Nicole at Balanced Being Nutrition, I felt stuck in a cycle of exhaustion, discomfort, and frustration. My body was sore, achy, and bloated, and no matter how much I exercised or tried to get enough sleep, I still felt drained and low on energy. I had experimented with different diets, seen a naturopath, and followed home workout programs like BODi (Beachbody on Demand). While some things helped, I realized what I was truly missing—a coach who could provide real support, guidance, and accountability.
Within my couple of weeks working with Nicole, I felt my body and mind shifting. The meals I was eating nourished me instead of leaving me feeling deprived, and I stayed consistent with my workouts. But the biggest breakthrough happened in my second session when I started recognizing the connection between my food and emotions. I realized that I often ate out of boredom or emotions—not true hunger. This awareness completely changed my mindset about food.
Today, my relationship with food and my body is completely different:
I feel more confident and comfortable in my body.
I have less self-criticism and a more positive body image.
I now see food as nourishment rather than something to restrict or overconsume.
I have sustained energy throughout the day without midday slumps.
The tools that helped me most were journaling and shadow worksheets, which helped me uncover the deeper emotional patterns behind my eating habits.
I never expected to discover how deeply my emotions impacted my eating habits. Through this process, I’ve learned to listen to my body’s signals and make food choices that truly support my health and well-being.
If I could go back and talk to the past version of myself—the one feeling frustrated and stuck—I’d say this:It’s not about being perfect; it’s about progress. Keep going, and don’t give up on your goals.
And if you’re considering working with Nicole but feel unsure, do it. She is hands-on, empathetic, and truly invested in your success.
This journey has given me more than just better nutrition—it’s given me a healthier, happier, and more confident life.
